Pomina Steel commissions blast furnace
Pomina Steel Group in Vietnam successfully put its blast furnace No.3 into production on 19 November, Kallanish notes.
The BF ignited is the first 630m³ BF in southern Vietnam, and has a capacity of 1 million tonnes/year of iron. China Machinery Industry International Cooperation Co. is responsible for the project’s design and equipment supply, as well as technical guidance related to installation and commissioning.
