Polish stockist's workers plan picket over wages
Workers at Polish steel stockist and fabricator Huta Pokoj plan to carry out a picket on 5 October to demand a raise of PLN 300 ($81.7) in monthly wages, Kallanish learns from trade union WZZ Sierpien 80.
Also demanded is the implementation of the company’s social benefits fund, or the withdrawal of the plan to terminate the contracts of 25 long-term employees.
