Polish stockist workers call off strike
Trade unions called off a strike scheduled at Polish steel stockist and fabricator Huta Pokoj last Friday after reaching a temporary agreement on pay with management.
Workers initially announced the strike last month following a referendum that came after a picket conducted by 350 of the firm’s 900 staff (see Kallanish 30 April).
