Polish sections producer enters pipe market
Polish sections producer Huta Labedy plans to sell 70,000-80,000 tonnes/year of welded pipe in the five years following the commissioning of its new pipe mill, currently in the final phase of testing. Sales will initially be targeted at the heating and construction markets, and will later extend to the more-demanding gas market, according to the firm’s deputy ceo commercial Tomasz Ryskalok.
