Polish scrap, slab exports rise, but prices down
Polish ferrous scrap exports grew 8% on-year in April to 139,157 tonnes, according to data from Poland’s Central Statistical Office (GUS) monitored by Kallanish. Their average value, however, was down to PLN 1,362/tonne ($358) from PLN 1,643/t in April 2018.
