Polish scrap exports slump, semis rise in October
Polish scrap exports tumbled -14% on-year in October 2019 to 126,771 tonnes, according to data from Poland’s Central Statistical Office (GUS) monitored by Kallanish. The average value of obsolete scrap under HS code 720449 exports fell to PLN 944/tonne ($247) from PLN 1,199/t in October 2018.
