Polish scrap exports slip despite Indonesia, Pakistan surges

Polish scrap exports fell -6% on-year in August to 142,272 tonnes, according to data from Poland’s Central Statistical Office (GUS) monitored by Kallanish. The average value of obsolete scrap under HS code 720449 fell to PLN 1,098/tonne ($283) from PLN 1,195/t in August 2018.
