Polish scrap exports rise, semis fall in October
Polish scrap exports rose 2% on-year in October 2018 to 146,629 tonnes, according to data from Poland’s Central Statistical Office (GUS) monitored by Kallanish.
The most-exported product was obsolete scrap whose exports inched down -1% to 75,595t. Their average value was PLN 1,190.9/tonne ($316.7) versus PLN 1,107.7/t in October 2017.
