Polish rebar imports sink to 2018-low
Polish rebar imports under HS code 721420 declined -26% on-year in June to 30,976 tonnes, according to data from Poland’s Central Statistical Office (GUS) monitored by Kallanish. This was a monthly low so far in 2018.
Germany supplied 14,804t, Hungary 6,739t and Russia 5,075t. This was down -33% and -36% respectively in the case of Germany and Russia, but up 20% from Hungary.
