Polish pipe mill orders new bending unit
Walcownia Rur Silesia (WRS) has purchased a new pipe bending unit from Italy-based Star Technology. This will widen the Polish pipemaker’s offering of bends to 45mm diameter and 3mm wall thickness.
The firm, owned by state-owned finance group Towarzystwo Finansowe Silesia (TFS), has also launched a tender to procure a – preferably automatic or CNC – tube honing machine.
