Polish HR flats exports hit 2018-high
Polish hot rolled flat product exports under HS code 7208 fell -24% on-year in June to 107,444 tonnes, according to data from Poland’s Central Statistical Office (GUS) monitored by Kallanish. They were nevertheless the highest monthly exports so far in 2018.
The most-exported product was 4.75-10mm thick unpickled wide strip whose shipments halved to 20,952t. Italy was the main destination with 9,191t, up 58%, but deliveries to Turkey zeroed from over …
