Polish government eyes shipbuilding revival
Poland’s government plans to make the country a major player in the shipbuilding industry as it was before the 2008 financial crisis, according to the Ministry of Marine Economy and Inland Navigation.
In an interview on Polish radio on Tuesday, minister Marek Grobraczyk said that before 2008 “… Poland produced close to 500,000 tonnes of ship steel; now we are on the level of 25,000t.”
