Polish galv imports fall despite Belgium-origin surge
Polish coated flat product imports fell -4% on-year in July to 171,361 tonnes. according to data from Poland’s Central Statistical Office (GUS) monitored by Kallanish.
The most-imported product was hot-dip galvanized coil whose intake inched down -1% to 80,542t. Germany supplied 32,544t, down -2%, Italy 8,743t, down -9%, and Belgium 7,712t, up 53%.
