Polish flats imports decline on reduced Russian-origin intake
Polish hot rolled flat product imports fell -11% on-year in 2019 to 2.58 million tonnes, according to data from Poland’s Central Statistical Office (GUS) monitored by Kallanish.
The most-imported product was hot rolled plate above 10mm thick whose intake was flat on-year at 606,917t. Within this, HS code 72085120 accounted for 466,370t, up 4%. Supply of this code from Ukraine rose 1% to 157,415t, imports from Czech Republic rose 3% to 86,198t and intake…
