Polish consumption surge met by increasing imports: association
Polish apparent finished steel consumption increased 23% on-year in the first half of 2021 to 7.71 million tonnes, but 80% of this was met by imports, including from other EU nations, according to Polish Steel Association (HIPH) president Stefan Dzienniak.
