Polish construction falters amid price collapse fears: ING
Polish construction sector output, which has been resilient during the Covid pandemic and following the outbreak of war in Ukraine, thereby propping up steel demand, slowed considerably in September.
Output inched up only 0.3% on-year in September, according to Statistics Poland (GUS). ING Bank points out this result is against a consensus of 6.6% growth. Confirmed output growth in August was 6.1% on-year.
