Polish car output sinks to 16-year low
Polish passenger car production ended 2019 with a whimper, with output totalling 29,500 vehicles in December. This was up 6.5% on-year, but the second-lowest monthly tonnage of the year after August, according to data from Poland’s Central Statistical Office (GUS) monitored by Kallanish.
Car output in full-year 2019 thus fell -3.7% on-year to 434,700 units, its lowest since 2003.
