Polish car output returns to decline
Polish passenger production returned to negative growth in May, falling -0.9% on-year to 43,000 units, according to data from Poland’s Central Statistical Office (GUS) monitored by Kallanish. This came after it broke a three-consecutive-month downtrend in April by inching up 0.2% on-year.
Car output in January-May thus fell -8.4% on-year to 198,900 vehicles.
