Poland's Stalprodukt foresees sustained electrical steel prices

Stalprodukt expects grain-oriented electrical steel (GOES) prices to sustain at current levels in the coming quarters, although customers will continue to exert pressure to lower prices. The Polish firm saw GOES segment revenue surge 45.8% on-year in the first half of 2018 to PLN 386.76 million ($104.6m) on a 33.6% increase in volumes, the firm says without providing tonnage.
