Poland's JSW secures funds for expansion
Jastrzebska Spolka Weglowa (JSW) has secured PLN 1 billion ($263.1 million) in funding towards its plan to increase coking coal and coke production, as well as energy self-sufficiency.
Of this total, PLN 760m has come from a consortium of Polish banks and Poland’s Industrial Development Agency (ARP). This will be used to acquire a 95.01% stake in mining construction contractor Przedsiebiorstwo Budowy Szybow (PBSz) from mining machinery firm Famur. The deal…
