Poland's JSW reports coking coal output slump
Jastrzebska Spolka Weglowa (JSW) decreased coking coal output -21% on-year in the first quarter to 2.4 million tonnes, although this was up 3.8% on Q4 2018, Kallanish learns from the Polish miner.
Coke output was down -10% on-year in Q1, but flat on-quarter at 830,000t, while its sales were flat on-year but down -13% on-quarter at 850,000t, JSW says in its preliminary Q1 performance report.
