Poland's JSW enjoys firm fourth-quarter coke prices, sales
Jastrzebska Spolka Weglowa (JSW) reported a 31% on-year and 11% on-quarter growth in coking coal sales in the fourth quarter of 2020 to 3.03 million tonnes, the Polish miner says in its provisional Q4 operating statement.
Coke sales surged 64% on-year to 950,000t, but this was down -5% from Q3.
Coking coal production nevertheless fell -6% on-quarter to 2.81mt, while coke output rose 9% to 930,000t.
