Poland's first electric car eyes 2023 production launch
ElectroMobility Poland (EMP) plans to begin annual production of up to 100,000 electric cars at its prospective PLN 2 billion ($532 million) plant by 2023.
The firm has shortlisted 4 possible locations for the new plant, which plans to employ 3,000 workers. The vehicles will be the first produced under a Polish brand since the discontinuation of the FSO Polonez in 2002.
