Increased consumption helps Poland's Alchemia turn profitable
Poland’s Alchemia recorded a 19% on-year increase in consolidated revenue in the second quarter to PLN 293.7 million ($80.6m), while net profit surged over six-fold to PLN 13.81m. Improved steel market conditions enabled the firm to raise production and prices, it says.
