Beltrame looks to raise output in Valdarno, will raise prices in February
Italian steelmaker Beltrame plans to source more scrap for its merchant bar operations in San Giovanni Valdarno, according to local media reports. The company will also implement a price increase in mid-February, it reveals to Kallanish.
Approximately 20,000 tonnes of scrap could be added to the 16,600 tonnes already ordered for this year’s manufacturing programme, sources suggest.
