Stainless pipemaker Schoeller Werk upgrades facilities
Schoeller Werk, a German producer of longitudinally welded stainless tubes has upgraded its machinery park, spending €3.7 million ($4.0m) on two fully automatic straightening and testing units, Kallanish learns from the company. The new devices enable Schoeller Werk to carry out fully automated testing of long and thin tubes, one of the few companies in its segment able to do this, the tubemaker claims.
