Pipemaker Schoeller invests in quality control
German pipemaker Schoeller Werk has been investing in improving its product quality systems. It has recently introduced new equipment for the measurement of tube surface roughness values, the company informs Kallanish.
The new surface roughness meter (or profilometer) allows stainless steel tubes to be precisely tested at a standard production length. The investment was made to ensure compliance with relevant standards in the food and medical technology sector.
