Pipe Logix: line pipe prices retreat in October
US line pipe prices slipped from September to October, largely due to a decrease in electric resistance welded products, Kallanish learns from energy tubulars analyst Pipe Logix.
Average line pipe prices fell -0.5% to $1,964/short ton, while domestic prices fell -07% to $2,179/st. Import prices, meanwhile, fell -0.2% to $1,749/st.
