Philly Fed suggests slower growth in manufacturing
The February manufacturing business outlook survey from the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia indicates positive growth in regional manufacturing, albeit at a slower pace than in January.
The bank’s manufacturing activity index decreased seven points from January to 16.0 in February, with 26% of firms reporting increases in activity and 63% of firms reporting no change.
