Philly Fed sees growth in manufacturing activity
Manufacturing activity and sentiment in the Northeast US continues to grow, according to the latest survey from the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia.
The survey’s “responding firms remained generally optimistic about growth over the next six months,” the bank says.
The bank’s diffusion index rose by eight points to 23.2 in January after a 24-point decline in December.
