Philly Fed sees continued, subdued manufacturing growth
The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia sees regional manufacturing growth in April, Kallanish learns from the bank’s latest economic survey.
The survey generated a manufacturing index of 8.5 for April, down from March’s reading of 13.7 but still in positive territory. New orders increased 14 percentage points to 15.7, offset somewhat by a 15 point inventory index decline to 2.6.
