Peru’s Aceros Arequipa temporarily halts operations
Peru’s main long products supplier, Aceros Arequipa (AA), temporarily halted activities on 25 January, Kallanish notes. This includes all production lines and distribution centres located in Pisco.
The move comes after the District Municipality of Paracas identified an "inconsistency and infraction" in the documents related to the operating permit of the plant.
