Peru's SHP second-quarter shipments slip, revenue rises
Shougang Hierro Perú (SHP)’s earnings rose sequentially in the second quarter, despite decreased shipments. Deliveries did however grow year-on-year, Kallanish notes.
SHP’s iron ore shipments totalled 4.58 million tonnes in Q2, down 19% compared to 5.66mt in the previous quarter but 15.7% higher versus April-June 2023.
