Rising iron ore prices boost SHP in first quarter
Iron ore producer Shougang Hierro Peru (SHP), saw its revenues and net profit increase in the first quarter of 2017, Kallanish learns from quarterly data issued by the company to the Peruvian financial authority.
“The factor that has most influenced the company's financial performance in the period from January to March 2017 has been the increase in iron ore prices”, SHP said, without giving more details.
