Peru’s iron ore output recovers in May
Peruvian iron ore production rose in May after a decline in the previous month. Output was also higher year-on-year, Kallanish notes.
Iron ore output reached 1.18 million tonnes in May, up 15.1% versus April’s 1.03mt and was 20.7% more y-o-y, according to the latest Peruvian Mines and Energy Ministry (Minem) report.
