Peru’s iron ore output recovers in February
Peruvian iron ore production rose on-month in February. It also remained higher year-on-year, Kallanish notes.
According to the latest Peruvian mines and energy ministry (Minem) report, iron ore output reached 1.20 million tonnes in February. This volume was up 0.2% over January and 38.3% higher compared to 874,254t in the corresponding month of 2022.
