Peru’s iron ore output reaches 2020-high in October
Peruvian iron ore production hit a 2020-high in October. Output also surpassed 1 million tonnes for a third consecutive month. Ten-month performance, nevertheless, remained weak, Kallanish notes.
According to the latest Peruvian mines and energy ministry (Minem) report, iron ore output reached 1,092,972t in October. This volume was 6.6% higher over September and 23.7% more year-on-year.
