Peru’s iron ore output climbs in June
Peruvian iron ore production rose on-month in June. Output was also higher compared to the same period of 2021, Kallanish notes.
The country's iron ore output surpassed 1 million tonnes in June for the fourth consecutive month. According to the latest Peruvian mines and energy ministry (Minem) report, output was 1.16mt during the month.
This volume was 14.2% higher over May and 3.8% more compared to 1.12mt in June 2021.
