Peru’s February iron ore output rises sequentially

Peruvian iron ore production rose on-month in February but remained lower year-on-year, Kallanish notes. According to the latest Peruvian mines and energy ministry (Minem) report, iron ore output reached 874,253 tonnes in February. This volume was up 9.9% over January but down 1.6% compared to 888,450t in the corresponding month of 2021.
