Peru’s August iron ore output slips sequentially

Peruvian iron ore production decreased month-on-month in August. Eight-month performance, however, remains markedly higher on-year, Kallanish notes. According to the latest Peruvian mines and energy ministry (Minem) report, iron ore output reached 1.13 million tonnes in August, 3.6% lower than July but 13.4% more y-o-y.
