Post-lockdown recovery boosts Peru's Aceros Arequipa second-quarter revenue
Peruvian electric arc furnace-based long steel supplier Aceros Arequipa (AA) saw sales increase in the second quarter, Kallanish notes. The firm is targeting net sales and Ebitda growth of 60% and 800% year-on-year respectively in 2021.
Net sales reached PEN 1.2 billion ($305.8 million) in Q2, 7.1% more than in the previous quarter and PEN 973 million or 422.5% higher compared to the same period last year.
