Peru`s Aceros Arequipa grows third-quarter sales
Peruvian electric arc furnace-based longs supplier Aceros Arequipa saw its sales grow year-on-year in the third quarter of 2019, Kallanish learns from the company`s quarterly report.
“The third-quarter result was higher on-year mainly due to the contribution of Comercial del Acero (Comasa), acquired by the company on September 2018, as well as higher sales, lower prices of raw materials and lower energy costs,” the steelmaker says…
