Peru supports Turkish billet exports in April
Turkish semi-finished product exports, the vast majority of which were billet, rose 10% on-year in April to 61,979 tonnes, but were down from 96,820t in March, according to Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data monitored by Kallanish.
HS code 720711 billet comprised 56,915t of exports, at an average price of $558/tonne versus $396/t in April 2020 and $505/t in March 2021.
