Peru reduces iron ore output in August
Peruvian iron ore production fell on-month in August. Output was also lower compared to the same period in 2021, Kallanish notes.
The country's iron ore output surpassed 1 million tonnes in August for the sixth consecutive month. According to the latest Peruvian mines and energy ministry (Minem) report, output was 1.04mt during the month.
This volume was 9.2% less over July and down 8.1% year-on-year.
