Perstima plans Philippine tinplate line

Perusahaan Sadur Timah Malaysia (Perstima) is planning to set up a plant in the Philippines to produce tinplate and tin-free steels. The plant would be the first such capacity in the country, Kallanish notes. Perstima says it has conducted a feasibility study into the plant and is now awaiting government approvals for investment.
