Persian Gulf Saba Steel inaugurates HBI plant

Persian Gulf Saba Steel has inaugurated its 1.5 million tonnes/year hot-briquetted iron plant in Bandar Abbas, Iran, and shipped its first, 30,000-tonne cargo to Asia, Kallanish learns from the firm. Saba Steel is 75% owned by Civil Pension Fund Investment Co. (CPFIC) and 25% by Civil Servants Pension Fund.
