Pennsylvania pipe coater plans November layoffs

Line pipe coater and supplier Dura-Bond Industries plans to indefinitely lay off nearly half of its Steelton, Pennsylvania, employees due to weak market demand. Per government requirements, the company filed a notice with the state labour department noting its intent to lay off 40% - or 180 employees – of its workforce on 15 November.
