PDO sources pipe from new Sohar seamless plant
Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) says it will start sourcing key well construction parts for its oilfields from newly-opened Sohar-based seamless pipe plant Changbao Oman Oil Pipe Company. The oil company currently spends $100 million annually on importing casing and tubing from China.
