Parties seek agreement in US scrap market
Buyers and sellers of scrap in the US market sought to reach an agreement on Monday on shredded scrap pricing. This remained blurred last week after suppliers withdrew from the market following Midwestern mills’ lower-priced bids, Kallanish notes.
