Panhua promises Philippine steelworks again

China’s Panhua Group has proposed to build an integrated steelworks in Mindanao in the Philippines, according to the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (Peza). Panhua has previously made proposals to invest in a Philippine steel plant but its plans have never come to fruition, Kallanish notes.
